Royal Doulton "Penelope" and "Hilary" Ceramic Figurines
Item Details
A pair of Royal Doulton figurines. Included in this collection are Royal Doulton’s ‘Penelope’ and ‘Hilary’ figurines . Penelope is dressed in a flowing red gown trimmed with blue bows, and is seated on a floral ottoman, practicing embroidery. The verso reads Penelope’s name as well as ‘HN 1901, COPR 1939, Doulton & Co Limited. Hilary is clad in a cornflower blue dress with white star shaped designs and navy trim, and grasps a white hat. She is marked with her name, ’HN 2335, COPR 1966, Doulton & Co Limited’ and four Rd numbers on the underside.
