A hand-knotted carved Chinese wool area rug. This rug features a carved pile with an off white field and floral blossom patterns along each spandrel in a palette of powder blue, cream, yellow, green, and pink. The field is enclosed by a matching off white border with overcast edges, a short kilim skirt, and a fringe to either end. Unmarked.
