A pair of Kenyan Kisii carved stone Guinnea fowl figures. These two pieces feature a matte black glaze with hand-carved dot patterns on the body, neck, and head. The semi-circle shape of each body is sloped to the back. The pieces have a hollow interior, and no discernible maker’s marks.
Condition
- to fair; some surface wear and crazing; smaller piece has a chip to the beak.
