Chinese Ceramic Figurine of the God of Longevity

Item Details

A Chinese figurine of the God of Longevity, one of the three Sanxing deities. The figure is bald and wears a floral patterned robes accented with longevity medallions and he leans upon a staff. The figurine is stamped ‘Fujian Association Shop’ (福建會舘) alongside a date stamp ‘Made in the year of wood monkey’ (甲申年製) dating the piece to 1944.
