Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. In this piece, the temple stands in the center of the work, with the field of broken columns and limestone blocks separating it from the viewer. The sky is full of white clouds pierced by clear blue sky as an orange light begins to creep up from the horizon. It is signed ‘AmGarifalos’ to the lower left. This piece is presented in a gold tone wood frame with molded gesso details and wire for hanging.
