An antique Continental School-style landscape oil painting on wood panel by an anonymous artist. The painting depicts a farmer tilling the soil of a field filled with brush and flowers with rolling hills overlooking a valley. The valley has a road through it which leads to a cluster of houses and a river near the edge of the hills. The piece is unsigned and set in its original ornate wood frame with a gold tone finish, equipped to hang.
