A limited edition lithograph on handmade paper titled ‘La Cabane du Pecheur’ by well-listed artist Lebadang (Vietnamese, 1921-2015). This print, which features sculptural bas-relief elements, depicts an abstracted scene of a boat on the water, and a small fisherman’s hut with two small figures in vignettes to the upper right corner. The print is signed in graphite and features the artist’s printed seal to the lower right corner. The print is editioned to the verso 22/300 and is housed in an ivory silk mat with a gold tone metal frame. Attached to the verso is an exhibit brochure from Circle Gallery in St. Louis, MO, as well as a magazine article about the artist.

Lebadang was born in Bich-La-Dong, Vietnam, and moved to France to study at L’École des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse. He has been living in Paris since the 1930s and became well-known for his painted ceramic plates, large abstract paintings, and mixed media work. His work has been featured in many major museums including The Cincinnati Art Museum, the Phoenix Art Museum in Arizona, the Rockefeller Collection in New York, the Foundation Museum in Kenya, the Lund University Museum in Sweden, the Loo Collection in Tokyo, and the Museum of Arts and Letters in France.
