A Mongolian watercolor on paper of oxen pulling carts loaded with lumber. This painterly scene depicts a red-capped figure directing the lead cart with what seems to be a whip, a small cluster of yurt-like structures visible to the background. This piece is marked with a line of what appears to be traditional Mongolian script to its upper right corner, and is presented under glass and a French mat in a beveled frame. There is an illegible tag to the verso along with a wire for hanging.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; chips and wear to frame and verso.
