A pair of offset lithographs after Vanity Fair prints of billiards players by well-listed artist Sir Leslie Matthew ‘Spy’ Ward (1851-1922). Featured is a print of a man wearing a suit posing with a billiards cue. Below the image is text that reads ‘He Might be a Champion if there were a Championship’. This work is signed in plate to the lower left corner. Also included is a work of a man holding cue and looking towards the right. Text below the print reads ‘The champion Roberts’. This work is signed in plate to the right of the composition. Informative labels are present to the verso of both works. Presented being glass in white French mats and wood frames.
