A circa 1930 Baroque Italian style dining table by the Batesville Cabinet Company/Hillenbrand Industries. This early 20th century walnut table features a beautiful figured wood veneer surface, with a contrasting wood veneer border, and foliate marquetry on each corner. The table is designed with a beautiful flamed mahogany veneer apron, with wood relief foliate detailing. It includes curved legs with carved acanthus leaf accents, on carved square feet, with a curved carved stretcher with scroll detailing. The table is unmarked but matches the other furniture clearly marked ‘Batesville Cabinet Co./Hillenbrand Industries’ at the estate.
