A vintage cedar chest by Lane. This rectangular top chest with serpentine back splash and side rails features a lid top opening to an interior storage space. The chest features four side by side false drawer fronts with brass pierced batwing plates and bail handles with escutcheons. The chest sits on bracket feet joined by a serpentine apron. The interior is marked ‘Lane’. The chest features an upholstered cushion top with off white, striped fabric featuring a pink rose and green leaf motif.
