Carolyn Zimmerman was born in Walton, Indiana. She started her formal artistic training at the Cincinnati Art Academy and studied with French sculptor and painter Antoine Bourdelle as well as Madame Levy-Ginsborg in Paris. Zimmerman body of work primarily focuses on forested landscapes. Carolyn, along with her husband Carl Zimmerman, was a member of the Cincinnati School of Painters.
Condition
- to fair; some wear to the edges of each cardboard; some wear to the edges of the canvas; rips and tears to the edges of the paper; paper item is fragile; to the verso of the paper item, staining and wear.
