Vintage Italian Tryptic Icons of the Madonna and Child

A collection of three vintage triptych icons. Each icon was made in Italy of gilded wood and features a reproduction of a famous artwork depicting the Madonna and Child Christ between two other folding panels. The first piece depicts Raphael’s Madonna del Granduca and is marked ‘Fratelli Paoletti, Made in Italy, No. 5036, Firenze, Via Serragli 11-14’ to the verso; it has a metal ring to the top for hanging. The second piece depicts Raphael’s Madonna della seggiola and is unmarked. The third piece depicts a painting of the same subject matter, circa 19th century, and is marked ‘Fomerz Quality, N. 33/305, Made in Italy’ to the verso.
