A signed original oil painting on canvas by artist Johanna Grell (1850 – 1934) titled Sheep. This Austrian artist is known for depicting sheep and fowl barn scenes. This painting depicts a barn interior with a ram, sheep and birds at a feed bin. It is signed to the lower right, with a lower plaque marked ‘J. Grell’ on the frame. The art is mounted in a carved gilt frame, with ornate lotus leaf design. A rear wire is included and is ready to hang.
