A Queen Anne style grandfather clock by Colonial Mfg. Co. This circa early to mid 20th century clock features a broken pediment with finial over a cherry case including Roman numeral face, openwork metal hour and minute hands with brass tone bracket corners, smooth brass weights, chains and pendulum with arched window for viewing. The case terminates in a plinth base with bookmatched figured veneers and ogee bracket feet. This piece is marked Model 1698, Movement 44, Dial DC.
