Hand-Knotted Tekke Bokhara Accent Rug
Item Details
A Tekke Bokhara accent rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of gray, peach, pale cornsilk, and midnight blue. It begins with a vertical row of Tekke guls flanked on each side by partial hooked diamonds, over a gray field. Framing the field are eight wraparound borders, including a primary border featuring boxed starburst motifs, over gray. Two horizontal panels, one above the field, the other below, feature partial dyrnak diamond guls and kochak motifs. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with ivory cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
