An antique baluster pedestal table and slat-back chairs with rush seats. The turn of the century oak table includes a round top overhanging conforming aprons and baluster pedestal base with splay legs curving at the ends. The table includes a pair of later extension panels with heartwood and sapwood in a mixed pattern, with shape mimicking the design elements of the top. The early 20th century chairs are made in the New England slat-back style with finial spindle stiles flanking four arched rungs and paper rush seats, rising up on turned spindle legs including spindle box stretchers.
