Enshrined Stamped Metal Plaque after El Greco "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz"

A Spanish decorative stamped metal wall shrine after the original 1586 oil painting by historically renowned Spanish Renaissance Master, El Greco, titled The Burial of the Count of Orgaz. This piece depicts a scene of a man dying surrounded by Catholic priests and a group of mean wearing black robes with white frilled collars. The top half of the composition depicts a scene of heaven with Jesus surrounded by Mary and his disciples as well as angels. This complex scene is rendered in intricate embossed pieces of various metals against a black ground. The top of the composition features a medallion reading Greco Toledo, and the piece is housed in an ornate gold tone wooden frame.
