An assortment of geologic specimens. This assortment of eight geologic specimens include two specimens of subeuhedral to euhedral light to medium purple amethyst crystals that display the hexagonal prism with six sided pyramidal termination habit common to the mineral quartz. Additional specimens include mineral specimens of gypsum and massive quartz, rock specimens of snowflake obsidian, a garnet mica schist and an ironstone nodule and a fossil specimen of petrified wood that retains little of the original interior wood structure but does retain some of the exterior bark structure.
