A vintage solid cherry slant-front secretary desk by the Davis Cabinet Company. This desk features a fold-down writing surface which opens to reveal a series of cubbies and four small drawers. It includes two lower stacked drawers with brass tone knob or bail pulls; one drawer is marked ‘Made of Solid American Burly Cherry’ to the interior. The piece stands upon turned legs with knob feet. It is marked ‘376 Desk Burly Cherry Davis Cabinet Company Marks of Good Furniture Nashville-Tennessee’ to the back.
