Item Details
A vintage metal Uncle Sam’s 3 Coin Register Bank toy. The Durable Toy Corporation began production of these toy banks in 1907 and discontinued production in the 1970s. This piece features a black finish to the metal with gold, cream and black tone plaques to the front. It features a small colorful Uncle Sam plaque, a working black metal arm and two counters with windows for tracking the amount ‘deposited’ to the bank. The piece features embossed scrollwork detailing to the sides and embossed instructions to the back, with address of the Durable Toy & Novelty Corporation and Patent Applied For.
