Selection of Silver Plate Servingware Featuring Lawrence B. Smith Co.
Item Details
A selection of silver plate servingware. This group includes eight pieces. It features a Lawrence B. Smith Co. oval tray with a scalloped edge, handles, and a engraved blank cartouche to the center. It is stamped with Lawrence B. Smith hallmarks to the underside along with ‘E.P.N.S. 1861 Superfine’. The lot also includes a covered sugar bowl and creamer set, two salt spoons, a pair of sugar tongs, a teapot with a wooden handle, and two salt cellars with cobalt blue glass inserts. These pieces are all monogrammed ‘TWC’ to the front.
Condition
- surface wear including scratches and tarnish throughout; wear to wooden handle of teapot; one sugar cellar has a broken leg; chip to rim of glass insert; each piece monogrammed.
