Vintage Eastlake Style Dresser with Vanity Mirrors
Item Details
A vintage Eastlake style dresser with vanity mirrors. This wooden piece has a walnut stain throughout, and features three mirrors atop a chest of drawers with accessory ledge and drawers at the top. The mirrors each have a broken arch pediment with incised geometric designs between the beveled top and base; the stationary center mirror is flanked by a smaller, rectangular mirror on each side, which is affixed to a turned stile and rotates a full half circle to be flush with the sides. The mirrors sit above a ledge with curved edge, which has a small accessory drawer on each side. The chest itself has two small drawers aligned and stacked above two full length drawers; each drawer has dovetail joins, horizontal line accents, and brass bail on batwing plate with a pinecone design to the center. It sits on a conforming plinth base.
