A vintage Directoire style secretary chest by Davis Cabinet Company. This piece features a walnut stained case with rectangular, hinged top which opens to reveal a fitted desk interior with pull-out writing surface. The case includes rounded and fluted stiles, three full-width drawers with brass tone loop pulls and dovetail joinery, scalloped aprons and rises up on bracket feet. The back of the piece includes a label which reads ‘Davis Cabinet Company’.
