Taxco Los Castillo Brass and Copper Tone Plates

A pair of mid century Los Castillo Taxco Metales Castilio handwrought brass, copper and silver tone plates. The brass tone plate is in a Modernist design and an round form with gently rolled edges, worked in a dinanderie inlaid manner, with silver tone inlay horse to the center. The plate is well-marked to the verso, with Hecho en Mexico Handwrought Los Castillo Taxco Metales Castilio 275. The copper tone plate also features rolled edges and has a silver tone inlay scene of a man with bow chasing a small animal. The plate is well-marked to the verso, with Hecho en Mexico Handwrought Los Castillo Taxco Metales Castilio 58.
