Vintage Chinoiserie Lacquered Cabinet with Hard Stone Applique

Item Details

A vintage Chinoiserie lacquer cabinet with hard stone applique. The piece features scenes of men and women in courtyards created using hardstone applique against the painted and lacquered ground. The double doors are both finished with ornate brass tone bails and pulls. The interior features two shelves and three drawers for storage and the interior of the double doors has been finished with a foliate design in a gold tone. The piece rests on a carved skirt finished with a Chinese cloud design in red to the front and four square legs.
