An oil painting of a boat on canvas, by listed New York artist Stanley Sobossek (1918-1996). This colorful work, which renders the scene over swathes of blue and yellow, depicts a small boat which has been raised for repairs, the ground underneath it scattered with tall grass. This piece is signed to its lower left and is presented in a beveled wooden frame with a hanging wire and a notation from the original owner to its verso.

- some scuffing to surface of frame; minor denting to UR corner of piece
