This edition of the House Rules and Manual of the Seventy-seventh Congress (1941–1943) has a thumb index and is bound in flexible black leather with gilt cover text; the front cover is personalized with the name of Kentucky Representative Beverly M. Vincent. Also included is a clothbound hardcover edition of Owen Wister’s novel The Virginian, published by Macmillan in 1902.

Condition

- to fair; cap and tail damage and cracked front hinge on The Virginian; minor redrot and loose binding on Jefferson’s Manual; edge and corner wear; discoloration and markings to covers; general shelf wear.
