A collection of Chippendale style chairs by Handycraft Furniture including six side chairs and two armchairs. Each wooden framed chair features a pagoda top rail, carved shoulders and splat including Rococo scroll and acanthus leaf elements and leading into a separate shoe molding. The chairs include a drop-in cushion seat with cream hue upholstery above carved, serpentine aprons and rising up on cabriole legs with carved knees and carved claw with ball feet. The armchairs include curved and chamfered arms with carved hand holds and scrolled supports. The chairs are stained in a mahogany tone and include a label which reads ‘Handycraft Furniture’ to the underside.

Condition

- some scratching to the frames and some staining on the upholstery.
