A color lithograph bookplate on paper designed by extremely prolific American kinetic sculptor and printmaker Alexander Calder (1898 – 1976). The piece was printed as plate 7 of eight hand-pulled lithographs published in Stabiles: Derriere le Miroir #141 in 1963. The prints depicted Calder’s Stabiles sculptures; this one depicts a triangular blue, red, yellow, and green shape with thick black outlines. The print is unsigned, and was printed in a limited edition of 150. It is matted in white and presented under acrylic glass in a silver tone metal frame.
