Antique Hepplewhite Three-Part Banquet Table

Item Details

A Hepplewhite three-part banquet table, circa early 19th century. The mahogany-veneered frame includes three sections, with the center section having two hinged leaves, which can be folded down. The three sections can fit together with the center leaves up or down. The skirt and the square, tapered legs are embellished with inlaid, lightwood stringing. The table appears to retain an old waxed patina, and the hardware for the table is included. There are no maker’s marks.

  • Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is advised to bring appropriate assistance, vehicle, proper materials, and any necessary tools to pickup.
  • Please be advised, furniture items must be picked up and removed by winning bidder during the scheduled pick-up time on pick-up day. A moving charge will be incurred by winning bidders for any items not picked up. If winning bidder chooses to not have the item moved for alternate pick-up, the winning bidder will incur a disposal fee to have the item removed.

- to fair; antique, used condition with wear and marks, dings and surface scratches consistent with age and normal use; some visible hairline age cracks; missing some small pieces of inlay; comes with package of hardware for the table, which has not been opened; some hardware may be missing, may not be original to table.
