14K Yellow Gold Plated Porcelain Brooch

Item Details

A late 19th century oval porcelain brooch presented in a 14K yellow gold plated setting with open hook clasp. The porcelain shows a young girl seated on a short ledge holding a spool of yarn. The scene is a transferred image in black which is hand painted in grey and pink. Porcelain is marked with an incised ‘29’ and ‘U’ to the back side.
