1950s Vintage Whiting & Davis Gold Tone Mesh Bag and Silver Compact

A collection of women’s accessories. Featured is a vintage circa 1950s Whiting & Davis gold tone mesh handbag with an oval chain link handle, a frame with scrolling details marked ‘Made in U.S.A. Mesh Whiting & Davis Bags’, a kiss clasp and peach hued faille lining. The handbag comes in its original white cardboard box that’s stamped ‘no. 4941-2’ in red. Also included is a vintage silver tone Danecraft compact in a scrolling design with a scalloped edge to the lid. The push clasp opens to reveal a circular mirror and powder well surrounded with etched scrolling design. The compact comes in a grey soft case.
