Vintage Housewares Featuring Coin Silver

Item Details

A group of vintage housewares. This includes an 800 silver thimble in size 12 with a leaf-like etched design to the bottom edge as well as a small round sterling silver pillbox made in Mexico. A coin silver darner tool tip and a metal collar hook stamped with ‘Wm. H. Frear & Co.’ of Troy, NY are included along with a hinged tea strainer with handle and attached under-tray. The last piece is a small gold tone traveling sewing kit with a thimble and thread inside. The total approximate weight of pillbox, darner, and thimble is 0.855 ozt.

Condition

- minor surface wear including faint markings and minimal tarnishing; darner is missing its handle.
