A set of four Limoges salad plates. This set of four porcelain plates features colorful Faberge egg motifs in the centers including Imperial Fifteenth Anniversary Egg commemorating the 15th anniversary of the coronation of Tzar Nickolas ll in 1911, The Lilies of the Valley Egg commemorating the egg presented by Czar Nickolas ll to his mother the Empress Marie Feodorovna in 1898, Imperial Renaissance Egg which commemorates the last of the eggs ordered by Tzar Alexander lll for his wife Marie Feodorovna before his death in November 1894 and Imperial Peter The Great Egg commemorating the egg presented by Tzar Nickolas ll to his wife Tzarina Alexandra Feodorovna in 1903. Plates are white with colorful egg accents and banded rims and each plate is marked to the verso with information abut each egg along with ‘Faberge Limoges France’ with maker’s mark.
