A woodblock print on paper titled Prince Genji after Japanese artist Utagawa Kunisada (歌川 国貞, 1786-1865), also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III (三代歌川豊国). This print is a later restrike. Depicted is Prince Genji and his attendants enjoying the summer breeze by the riverside. This scene is from the famous Japanese story of Prince Genji and his amorous and mysterious life. It is inscribed to the upper and lower left corners. Additional information inscribed to the verso. It is presented matted, under glass, and in a black composite, wood frame.
