A handwoven semi-antique Persian Zanjan Shiraz wool area rug. This rug features a crimson field with a large central medallion with jagged edges heavily embellished with geometric and floral motifs, in and surrounding the medallion. The colors shown through out this rug are, black, indigo, ivory, sand, and rose, with a unique patterned main border along with a guard border. This rug is finished with overcast wrapped edges with an extremely short natural warp ivory fringe, marked with a tag that reads ‘Made in Iran’.

- Condition is consistent with age and shows signs of light wear.
