Vintage Chippendale Style Armchair

A vintage Chippendale style armchair. This wood chair features a curved crest rail, carved arms ending in scrolled accents, straight legs with square feet in the back and cabriole legs with claw feet in the front. The tapestry style upholstery depicts a white robed man reaching out to a brown robed man who is laying on the ground forlornly looking away. A needlepoint throw pillow with colorful tassel accents is also included. The chair has brass tone circular studs along the edges and has no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

to Fair.
Wear consistent with age, lots of discoloration on fabric from use.
