A 1990 painting of an abstracted primitive-style face using tempera on unstretched canvas, by an artist signing the piece ‘Bounds’. This work appears to be inspired by the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat and uses thick layers of red, yellow, black and white to depict a wild-eyed figure with bared, shattered teeth. The work is signed toward its lower right edge, and is presented without framing or hanging hardware.
