An oil on canvas portrait painting of a young lady. This carefully-rendered work depicts a rosy-cheeked woman with dark hair, her lips pursed and her eyebrows slightly arched. The work, which is painted in shadowy earth tones, is presented in a carved wooden frame with a wire to its verso for hanging.

- would benefit from cleaning; visible stretcher marks; damage to stretcher at upper right corner; small areas of paint loss throughout canvas; frame has surface wear; chips and crazing to painting; nail exposed in bottom center of frame; paint drip in lower right corner; painting is loose from frame.
