An assortment of sterling silver utensils. This assortment includes a bonbon spoon by S. Kirk & Son, two tablespoons by Thomas Whipham, and one unmarked sugar spoon. The two spoons by Thomas Whipham feature personalized engravings to the handles and marked to the underside with four hallmarked including a lion passant for sterling, a crowned lion head for London, an ‘I’ for 1804 and a duty mark foloowed by the Thomas Whipham maker’s mark. The S. Kirk & Son bombon spoon features repoussé handwork to the bowl and chasing handwork to the stem and handle. The underside of the spoon is marked, ‘S.Kirk & Son Sterling.’ The unmarked sugar spoon features a curved stem with a pointed handle and is marked, ‘Sterling.’ The total approximate weight is 8.405 ozt.
