Gorham "Chippendale" Sterling Pipkin with Preisner Sterling Silver Bowl
Item Details
A pairing of sterling silver tableware and serving ware. This includes a pipkin in the Chippendale pattern by Gorham, featuring Chippendale style rim and sides, two spouts, and a wooden handle to one side. It is marked to the underside ‘Gorham’ above the pseudo hallmarks of a lion, an anchor, and a Gothic ‘G’, ‘Sterling 164/1’, a date mark for 1950, and ‘Chippendale’. It is presented with a small Preisner bowl that has a pierced lip and gadroon and bead patterned rim. The approximate weight of the bowl is 2.075 ozt.
