Item Details
A pair of hand-painted porcelain figurines titled Suivante d’Isabeau de Bavière and Jeanne de Sancerre. These figures are likenesses of Medieval women, one a French queen and the other a noblewoman, respectively. They both wear teal gowns and headpieces indicative of their status in society. Isabeau de Bavière is from the Saxonian Porcelain Factory, and Jeanne de Sancerre is from the Saxonian Porcelain Factory under Carl Thieme. They are marked to the bases with the figures’ names and makers’ marks.
