A sterling silver plate by Gorham and a sterling silver bowl by Roger Williams Silver Co. The plate features a shallow well, a wide lip with personalized engraving, and a beaded border around the rim. It is marked with the three Gorham pseudo hallmarks of a lion, anchor, and Gothic ‘G’ as well as ‘Sterling A505’ with hand engraved ‘C1343’. The bowl has a flat bottom well with sloped sides, a wide lip, and a patterned border along the rim. It is stamped ‘R’ on a ‘W’ over ‘Trademark’ to the underside with ‘C.E. Gifford & Co.’ for the retailer, ‘Sterling’, ‘7217 1/2’, and a hand scratched ‘1307943’. The total approximate weight is 6.370 ozt.
