An oil painting of an atmospheric landscape on canvas by an artist appearing to sign the work ‘Rosenthal.’ This textured, painterly work depicts a hazy valley as seen from between a pair of tree-scattered hills, a cluster of small white houses visible toward the piece’s lower left. This work is signed to the lower right, and is presented in a carved wooden frame with a wire to its verso for hanging.
