A sterling silver flatware set for eight by Towle. Produced from 1932 to 2009, this set is in the Harold E. Nock designed Craftsman pattern, which features slightly flaring handles with faceted and squared terminals. This forty piece set includes eight teaspoons, eight iced tea spoons, eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, and eight dinner knives. The forks and spoons are stamped on the reverse ‘Towle Sterling’ next to the Towle hallmark, and the knives are marked ‘Towle, Sterling Handle, Stainless Blade’ to the blades. The total approximate weight, excluding the dinner knives with stainless steel blades, is 38.020 ozt.
