Antique Mason's Patent Ironstone Jug and Another
Item Details
A pair of ironstone jugs. The featured example was made by Mason’s in a Chinoiserie pattern and iron-red enamels. The mark has an angular crown dating it to the 1850’s Ashworth period. The piece is accompanied by a transfer printed jug with floral pattern and seaweed with luster accents likely produced by Ridgway and impressed ‘Ironstone’ circa 1830-45.
