Vintage Louis XV Style Bedroom Suite

Item Details

A vintage Louis XV style veneer bedroom suite. This set includes a bed with headboard and footboard. with ornately carved foliate and garland design to the frame. It also includes an ornate chest of drawers features a glass top over a slightly stepped back design to the body of the piece. The drawers are each fronted by book-matched veneers and cockbeading. The piece features three entire length drawers, the top with two faux side drawers and ornate arabesque detailing in relief. The bottom two drawers feature ornate drawer pulls and the piece rests on cabriole legs with a scrolled skirt. The final piece in the collection is a large tiger maple veneer tallboy chest. the top features a stepped back style with a bank of three small drawers to the center flanked by a pair of cabinets. The drawers and door are each finished with round pulls, cockbeading and veneers. The bottom of the piece has three long drawers, the top has arabesque designs to the center and two round pulls to the sides. Other details include cabriole legs and reeding to the corners.
