Karges Louis XV Style Leather Top Writing Desk

Item Details

A Louis XV style writing desk by Karges. This desk has a walnut finish and a tooled brown leather top. It features a central drawer above a kneehole, flanked by one drawer to the left and two stacked drawers to the right. The drawers are equipped with brass tone foliate pulls and one is marked ‘Since 1886 Karges Evansville, Indiana’ to the interior. The desk is supported by cabriole legs with brass tone ormalu mounts and scrolled acanthus leaf caps. Two keys are included.
