A framed lithograph, c. 1980, on Arches paper after Alphonse Mucha’s (1860-1939) Au Quartier Latin #12 This piece depicts a central female figure reclining and surrounded by diminutive figures, as if she were their protector. Her long brown hair is crowned with an owl, wings outstretched. This figure is surrounded by art nouveau style botanical and geometric motifs and the text ‘Au Quartier Latin’. The print is signed in plate to the lower left. The print is presented in a bronze tone frame.
